1. One of the must-do activities during this time of year is visiting the Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree. This monument of holiday cheer attracts millions of visitors each year who come to enjoy its beauty and take memorable photos. Nearby, you can also ice skate on the Rockefeller rink and sit in the Chalets overlooking the rink.
2. Across the street from the tree is the dazzling Saks Fifth Avenue display. This year they have collaborated with Christian Dior to display a dazzling zodiac and floral display. Along the windows of the store, there are miniature displays of the Saks Fifth Avenue store. For even more fun, don’t be shy to go in! 7 floors of a dazzling decorated store will be sure to keep you in awe!
3. If you’re in the mood to shop and try new foods, Bryant Park Winter Village is the place to be! Each stand contains different food variations for everyone to enjoy! From Bao Buns to cheese wheel pasta made right in front of you, each stand has a bite of deliciousness you don’t want to miss out on. The Winter Village is also the place to be for the shoppers! An array of stands containing jewelry, ornaments, clothes and more contains something for everyone visiting.
4. Don’t miss out on seeing a New York Christmas staple show, the Rockettes! They perform their dazzling Christmas Spectacular show at Radio City Music Hall. Their dance routines and stunning costumes are sure to leave you in awe.
5. Another hidden location no one would expect to find Christmas cheer is the New York Public Library. As soon as you walk in, a breathtaking decorated tree is there to catch your eye! There is more to experience in the NYPL, such as the beautiful architecture and library rooms.
