As we wrap up the school year, the seniors at Carey want to give a big shoutout to the awesome teachers who have made a huge difference in their lives. Here are some heartfelt tributes and thank-you notes from the Class of 2024!
All my teachers are very kind and they have helped me a lot.
Thank you Mrs. Doyle for being such a dedicated teacher.
Thank you coach Englis for helping me fall in love with my sport. I truly don’t know where I would be if you didn’t believe my potential. Because of you I have found my passion for running.
Thank you to Ms. Sabbatino, who even though she isn’t at Carey anymore, she impacted me because always pushed me to do better. She helped me see how much potential I had in and out of class
Thank you to Mrs. LoRusso for being like a second mom to me here at Carey. She always looked out for me and cared for her class like no other. I always loved being in her class and seeing her big smile and I’m going to miss her so much
Thank you Mrs. Molino for making Italian class the best class I’ve ever had. You have such a special personality and I appreciate you!
Thank you Mrs. Bruno for your charismatic and kind persona. You truly brighten my day and you bring our classroom to life! I loved reading all of our books with you.
Ms. Robertson—Thank you for helping me shape my writing and creativity. I wouldn’t have improved my poetry and essays without your help so thank you. I will miss you dearly (No seriously what am I going to do without you 🥹)
Ms.Bruno—I know I only had you this year but you truly been such a pleasure to have as a teacher. Thank you for bringing back my love for reading classic literature and being so engaging in our class.
I will miss you Dr. Daconto, Ms. Burgalassi, and Mr. Kaufman— My favorite Art teachers thank you for supporting my creativity in photography and helping me navigate my art journey. I would have not won so many awards or realized my true potential in the art area so thank you. I will miss you both dearly.
Mr. O, Mr. Nocella, Mrs. Pagnotta, Doc. McGuinness, Mrs. Bruno
Mrs. Bruno is one of the best teachers you will have. She is the go to person if you need to rant about your life drama and schoolwork and overall is easygoing, open minded and most importantly doesn’t judge you.
Moreno for giving me a drive to improve; Bruno for making senior year so fun; Burgalassi for being so supportive always; Bewick for making sophomore year my favorite
Thank you to both my living environment teachers, it was in this class that I discovered my love for biology and I hope to pursue a career in it.
Ms. Sabbatino, her class made me realize I wanted to be an engineer.
I want to thank Mrs. Schoen, Mrs. Parenteau, Mrs. Hellen, and Mr. Nocella for not only being wonderful teachers but also inspiring me to pursue a career in math. I also want to thank Mrs. Pagnotta for always being there for me as a friend as well as a teacher :)

I want to thank all my teachers that I’ve had throughout the years. I want to thank Ms Erin Walsh for guiding me and being there for me when I needed help the most, not only with school but with personal things. It was great to have you before you left Carey.
Mrs. Haviken is an amazing teacher. She always deals with my childish behavior. She also always inspires me and supports me and pushes me to do better in school.
Thank you to Mr.Herlihy for always making me laugh and making earth science really fun, it’s been fun stopping by your classes and doing our handshake!
Thank you to Mrs. Bruno for making AP Lit so much fun. I will miss our bagel and snack parties. I love how you always check up on us and you were always there for us even if our college essay was due the next day you would make sure to look it over and get it back to us in the same day. You made sure we were super prepared for our AP Exam and made senior year fun. I’m gonna miss you being our teacher next year. Thank you for all that you’ve done for us this year. You’ve truly made this last year at Carey special for us!!
Mrs. Bruno thank you so much for being an amazing teacher. Your class has never failed to brighten my day and I always look forward to it. Thank you for reigniting my passion for literature!

Mr. Frino! I was so happy to be a part of his group during the France trip. He made it all worth the time we spent there with all his jokes and high spirits.
Mrs. Cruz, your kindness and generosity have never gone unnoticed in my eyes. Thank you for always being a support system, whether it was academically or personally. You will forever have changed my life and shown me how a teacher can not only be an educator, but also a friend when you're in need.
I’d like to thank my art teachers Mrs. Lennea, Mr. Kaufman and Dr. Daconto for constantly pushing me to excel in the arts. These few classes we’ve had together have really shaped me as an artist and I’m glad I got to explore my horizons without you all beside me.
I would like to thank Mrs. Molino for always putting so much energy and effort into her lessons and classes. Mrs. Molino has not only been an amazing teacher but someone I could rely on and look up to.
I wanna thank Zachary Englis for being my track coach, Ms Keane for teaching me physics, and Ms Bruno for teaching me how to write with care.
