Advice from the Graduating Class

Here are some some last words of advice from the Class of 2024 for the rising senior class... take some suggestions from experience!


  • Enjoy your last school year!

  • finish your college applications early and then have fun

  • Do your work it’s so easy!

  • Senior year is going to be your favorite year of school. It’s so easy and fun. Enjoy every day of it.

  • Definitely keep up with your schoolwork as much as possible. Also go out and have fun at senior events

  • Do your work and be motivated, it’ll get you so far.

  • Take time for yourself when things get stressful.

  • Extracurriculars are so important. Make sure you get involved.

  • Don't burn out

  • Get enough sleep

  • Explore and stay true to yourself. Especially during college applications, show your true voice in your essays and that will come through to admissions officers, even for the really hard schools. Try to be unique but not in a way where you become a different person and lose your own shine.

  • Just don’t take it for granted, don’t rush this year, even if you get stressed or afraid just focus on where you are cause this is the last year that you can look around and see these people

  • Say yes to every invite or opportunity!

  • Enjoy the year, use it to best set yourself up for what’s to come, and most importantly, relax.

  • Start your essays and applications early in the year

  • Stay on top of your work and start thinking about what you want to fill your resume with now! Cherish all the memories you have made and will continue to make in this school, and don’t let the silly things get in your way

  • Don’t waste or regret your time!

  • Enjoy every moment because trust me when they say it flies by…it really does.

  • Enjoy every single moment because trust me 12th grade flies by really fast.

  • Enjoy every single moment. Don’t have any regrets, live and learn because time flies by so fast!

  • Have good time management skills and enjoy Highschool to the fullest. Don’t take things too seriously and spend time with your friends as much as possible!!

  • Don’t get senioritis it doesn’t help

  • Save skipping class for the last quarter when the weather gets nicer.

  • do everything early!!! do all your applications early so when it’s the end of the school year you can already be committed and not have to worry

  • My advice for incoming seniors is to do all your workplace and have fun because it’s the last year of high school!

  • Apply for college as early as possible and don’t wait too long.

  • Enjoy your senior year and all the fun events but still keep up with your work

  • Overcome your fears and try new things.

  • Get college applications done early

  • Enjoy every second of senior year because it goes by way too quickly

  • Slow down, and really take in everything around you. Enjoy the time you have with your friends while you are still here.

  • Ask your guidance counselor a million questions, the right college will find you don’t stress out abt rejection you weren’t suppose to go there

  • Lock in

  • Just try your best and live for yourself

  • Don’t work too hard

  • Have fun but don’t let senioritis get the best of you

  • Good luck and have fun

  • Have lots of fun and make tons of memories!! 💗

  • It goes by very very fast

  • Best year of your high school life. Enjoy it to the fullest.

  • To make the most of your time in high school because a lot of the things you are doing might be your last time doing it.

  • Keep your head high king you got this

  • It’ll be hard in the beginning but you’ll have fun. Make the a lot of memories as much as you can.

  • Create many memories with loved ones and always keep the future in mind.

  • Save room in your schedule for free periods!! Also, take APs so that you’re done with everything by may- The last thing you want is coursework in June!

  • It’s your last year of high school ever. Cherish every single moment. There will be a lot of emotional and tough challenges during this year whether it’s friendships, college applications or just the bittersweetness of leaving our home Carey, every moment counts. This is your life and you control what you do with it. High school isn’t where you peak, it’s where you grow.

  • Enjoy every moment and get involved.

  • Make your own senior quotes, visit everyone’s classes & put a slip & slide on the field again

  • Keep your head up always! And do your absolute best and have fun because this will be your last year with the people you grew up with since kindergarten.
