2. Visit a local pumpkin patch! Carve them into funny faces or characters, paint them with bright and fun colors, or just buy a bunch to put on your stoop. Either way, pumpkins are the perfect fall decoration to spruce up any living space!
3. Take a drive to an apple orchard for the day! Pick some apples, grab hot apple cider, eat some warm, freshly baked apple cider donuts, or simply walk around the orchard to take in the beautiful scenery. Find a pet friendly apple orchard if you have an adorable pet who wants to tag along for the trip!
4. Travel to a fall festival: There are a variety of fall festivals that take place all over New York each year! Find one close to you and do some fall shopping, eat some fall flavored treats, or just browse and enjoy a nice fall outing!
5. F is for Football: Watch a game on tv with your favorite fall dinner or come and support the Carey Seahawks for the rest of their season! Don’t know anything about football? Fall is the perfect time to become a fan! Watch some games or get together with some football lovers to learn more about the sport.
6. Host a fall bake off! Apple cider donuts, apple or pumpkin pie, apple crisp, apple turnovers; the list is endless! Create a fun competition with your friends and treat the winner to a fun fall outing or treat!
7. Go for a fall hike or bike ride. New York has beautiful trails where you can admire the colorful leaves and beautiful fall landscape during the season!
